Third Son is a fresh take on the traditional tailor shop, blending contemporary sensibilities with the quality and craftsmanship of traditional tailoring techniques.  

Third Son is deeply rooted in the knowledge, expertise, and craftsmanship of tailoring. We believe in the fundamentals of how a custom suit should be made, but also that tastes change. No two bodies are the same, and therefore no two suits, shirts, or separates should be the same.

Which is why getting to know you is integral to our process. We believe in continually improving our offering, whether that be discovering and developing new product lines, as well as fresher, more approachable services. Ramy’s grandmother was a seamstress and he grew up around sewing machines and safety pins.

The pins became a bit of an unconscious obsession for Ramy, who pinned them to his backpack. Safety pins were a constant in every space he frequented, at his parents’ tailor shop, in his pockets, and pinned to his schoolbag.

The safety pin has become an emblem of Ramy’s inheritance and the respect he has for the care and craftsmanship of tailoring.

When you purchase a Third Son custom suit or jacket, a branded safety pin will be pinned to the lapel. You may of course elect to forgo the pin, but we offer it as a symbol of the pride and care that have gone into the creation of your garment. We offer a small piece of our hearts to you.

Fun Fact: The button holes on all Third Son custom pieces are made using a 7-decade old machine that was once used by Ramy’s grandmother.
