FAQS
Through our made-to-measure and semi-bespoke programs, we can craft an overcoat to your exact specifications. We also have a partnership with Chrysalis England and can order any item from their impression collection. Please enquire in-store and we would be delighted to show you their current catalogue.
Yes! Though our women’s ready-to-wear collection is modest, our made-to-measure and semi-bespoke offering for women is equal to that of our men’s tailoring program.
Our garments are made in-house, at Canadian manufacturing facilities, and in Europe. At your appointment we can tell you exactly where your garment will be made.
A two-piece made-to-measure suit starts from $1,300 (made in Canada or Europe)
A two-piece semi-bespoke suit starts from $2,400 (made in-house)
A custom shirt starts from $275 (made in Canada)
Custom knitwear starts from $345 (handmade in Italy)
The delivery of your suit will depend on your availability for fittings and may be subject to time fluctuations pending demand.
For our made-to-measure program, we aim to deliver your suit within 6 weeks from your first appointment. For our semi-bespoke program, we aim to deliver your suit within 12-14 weeks from your first appointment.
If you require your garment sooner, we may be able to accommodate. Rush charges may apply.
Most ready-to-wear garments require at minimum some minor adjustments to ensure the best fit for you. On the day of purchase, we will pin the garment and identify areas for adjustment. These alterations generally take 2 weeks.
We would always advise an appointment being made so we can allocate the appropriate amount of time to give you the best possible service.
This depends on whether you're a new or existing customer and the nature of your garment.
For new customers, we recommend two to three fittings before your garment is finished and handed over to you.
Once you have an established pattern with us, it may be possible to place further orders without as many fittings.
In general, we prefer to source fabrics from our trusted suppliers to guarantee a minimum quality standard. Fabrics that are old, damaged, and/or of unknown source and quality can be difficult to work with and may not be sufficiently durable. The same applies to our upholstery services. We only work with high quality, natural fibres.
We take a 50% deposit when you place your order, and you pay the balance when you collect your garment(s) at the end of the process.
We recommend giving your garments at least a day's rest between wears.
To remove any dirt, you can brush the fabric with a horsehair brush, or spot clean with a damp rag.
We recommend dry-cleaning sparingly, and only as-needed, such as if your garment has visible stains. There is no need to clean your suit after every wear.
Should you have any questions about care for your garment, please don't hesitate to contact us.
